Dr. Patricia Kopko graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Loma Linda University. She also completed a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Kopko has more than 20 years of experience in blood banking and transfusion medicine. She is currently a Professor of Pathology at the University of California, San Diego where she serves as the Director of Transfusion Medicine and the Associate Director of the Immunogenetics and Transplantation Laboratory.
