Postpartum Hemorrhage and Target-Directed MTP Lessons-Learned about Fibrinogen Replacement
Presented during the AABB Science and Innovation Forum:
Benefits of Early Fibrinogen Supplementation in Hemorrhage Treatment and Experience with Pathogen Reduced Cryoprecipitated Fibrinogen Complex (INTERCEPT® Fibrinogen Complex)
Hospitals across the U.S. are implementing Pathogen Reduced Cryoprecipitated Fibrinogen Complex, also known as INTERCEPT® Fibrinogen Complex (IFC), to ensure an enriched source of fibrinogen, factor XIII, vWF, and other constituents is ready to transfuse immediately* when minutes matter. Shiu-Ki Rocky Hui, MD from Texas Children’s Hospital discusses the importance of early fibrinogen supplementation in hemorrhage.
